“So long I lasted, 90 years of the University of Warsaw Choir”

The CD was recorded on the occasion of the 90th jubilee of the Choir, which was celebrated through a series of the Choir’s concerts. The album is a recording of one of them: the concert entitled “Tylem wytrwał” (“So long I lasted”) took place on 3rd April 2011 in the W. Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw. The – slightly perverse – title is quote from a beautiful song by Ignacy Paderewski and refers not only to the long and rich history of the Choir but also to the jubilee concert itself: a two-hour long a capella presentation of its achievements. The CD contains 16 selected pieces from that concert.
