Logging in, registration
Shopping in the Internet Shop of the University of Warsaw is possible after prior registration and creation of an account, as well as without registration.
Registration, logging in
In order to create an account in the Internet Shop of the University of Warsaw press „My account” (upper right-hand corner of the main page). After entering all necessary data and approving them an email with activation link will be sent to your account. To complete the registration click the link in the email or copy and paste it to your browser.
After activating the account you can log in to the Shop (using your username and password set during the registration) and shop. Registered users can log in right after entering the website.
What are the benefits of creating an account? Persons with own account can easily trace the history and status of their orders. From time to time, they will be sent information about promotions and sales. In the future, they will be able to grade and comment on products.
Shopping without registration
Persons who do not plan to shop in the Internet Shop of the University of Warsaw frequently and do not wish to have own account can shop without registering. You need to choose the product, add it to the cart and follow the instructions Shopping without registration does not release you from the necessity to accept the Regulations, provide your email address and address for delivery (in the case of choosing delivery by courier as delivery option).

Delivery, personal collection
Delivery period
We are doing our best to make the delivery period as short as possible. Usually, it lasts 2-3 working days from the moment the sum is booked on our account. In the case of international deliveries it may take longer.
Order completion
There are two options of completing the order:
- Personal collection
After receiving a message about the change of order status to “completed” free personal collection is possible from the seat of the Promotion Office of the University of Warsaw, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Kazimierzowski Palace, room no. 8 [see on the map].
Personal collection is possible from Monday to Friday during the following hours:
Monday 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Tuesday 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Wednesday 9.00 a.m.– 4.00 p.m.
Thursday 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Friday 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
To collect your order you need to present your ID or another document with a photo and order confirmation.
An authorized person can also collect the order. This person needs to present the authorization, ID or another document with a photo and order confirmation.
- Delivery by courier
Once the ordered product is ready for shipment, a message about the change of order status to “completed” will be sent to you via email. From that moment onwards, the user can trace the delivery based on the waybill number (we send the number via email, and it will be displayed in the “My account” tab). The courier will deliver the product within several days.
The cost of shipment by courier is always provided during placement of the order.

Payment methods
Payment must be made within five days from order placement. If for any reasons it is not possible to make the payment within that period, the order will be cancelled.
We accept the following payment methods:
- via electronic payment system (PayU)
- electronic transfer to the bank account of the University of Warsaw Internet Shop: 18 1160 2202 0000 0002 7418 9022 (please use the order number as bank transfer title)
- payment made personally at a post office or in a bank directly to the bank account of the Internet Shop of the University of Warsaw (please use the order number as bank transfer title).

Persons finalizing the purchase from foreign accounts should type in PL before the account number, i.e.: PL 18 1160 2202 0000 0002 7418 9022. SWIFT code (the same as BIC code) of the bank where we have the account is: BIGBPLPW.
NOTE! If the bank transfer is made from an account in a currency other than the Polish zloty (PLN), some banks may charge a foreign transaction fee. The University of Warsaw does not reimburse the bank’s commission.

Exchange, returns, complaints
Exchange of clothes
If a T-shirt or a sweatshirt purchased in our Shop happens to be too small or too big, it can be exchanged. Such a mistake can be avoided by careful reading of the information about sizes (size chart). A product can only be exchanged for another product of the same kind, at the same price, but in different size (e.g. a Small size sweatshirt can be exchanged for a Medium size sweatshirt of the same kind). In order to exchange clothes you need to contact us by email: e.siech@uw.edu.pl or telephone: 22 55 24 062. We will make sure that an exchange is possible (i.e. that a sweatshirt or a T-shirt in a different size is available).
Returns
In line with the law, each person is entitled to return the goods purchased in our Shop. The goods may be returned within 14 days from their reception. Only goods without any signs of usage can be returned.
Persons who picked up their purchase from the seat of the Promotion Office and wish to return it to the same place should come to the Office with the goods, filled in return form and original purchase document (receipt or invoice).
Persons who decided to have their purchase delivered by courier service and wish to return it the same way should first send the return form to: e.siech@uw.edu.pl. After receiving your email, our team will contact you and agree the details of the return.
Complaints
All products available in our Shop are covered by warranty. If the purchased item happens to be defective, it should be sent or brought to the seat of the Promotion Office of the University of Warsaw (address: Promotion Office, University of Warsaw, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw) with filled in complaint form and proof of purchase (receipt or invoice). The item will be sent back to its manufacturer, who will consider the complaint.
