For the University community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The University of Warsaw is the largest Polish university. It has almost 45 thousand students and over 7 thousand employees. Each year more than a dozen thousand new people join the university crowd. Majority of them successfully complete the studies and from that moment onwards can call themselves \u201cgraduates of the University of Warsaw\u201d. Do they pronounce these words with a smile on their faces? What ties do these groups feel with the University? Are they proud to be part of an elite group of students, employees or graduates of the University of Warsaw?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating the University shop, we had them in mind. We wanted to give the University community a chance to purchase a gadget, a sweatshirt or a T-shirt branded with the logo of the best university in Poland so that in their workplace, during classes or on holiday they could show that they are proud to be part of the University community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For guests, friends, tourists<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the University campus is visited by thousands of guests from Poland and abroad. They come for conferences, students\u2019 exchange programmes, or as tourists. Many meet here interesting people, gain knowledge, visit historical University buildings. When creating the University shop, we had also them in mind. We wanted to give them a chance to take a part of the University with them \u2013 to their homes, towns and countries \u2013 in the form of a souvenir with University logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Office with experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The University shop is run by the Promotion Office of the University of Warsaw. For many years we have been dealing with ordering and distribution of materials with University logo necessary for our rectors and professors, as well as organizers of university conferences. Moreover, we are responsible for providing the University with calendars and preparing gadgets for special occasions e.g. the University\u2019s Open Day or Long Night of Museums at the University of Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author of all the photos presented on the shop\u2019s website is Miros\u0142aw Ka\u017amierczak, graduate of the faculty of journalism and social communication at the University of Warsaw, specialising in press, advertising and publishing photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
